Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Cambridge Child Development Centre, a public-facing centre name used by Tadika Syukur, handles information on this website and in the Cambridge Pages Monitor Meta app.
Contact: Cambridge Child Development Centre, Lot 18, Block Z, Taman Tyng, 90000 Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia. Email: cambridgesandakan@gmail.com.
What the integration is for
The app is intended to help the centre monitor its own Facebook Page and respond to customer-initiated Messenger enquiries. It may also monitor Page posts and comments and, only if separately connected and authorized, an associated Instagram professional account. Its initial operating mode is approval-first: notify authorized staff of new messages, summarize the conversation, and prepare or send only approved replies. It is not configured to publish posts, delete content, change Page settings, or send unsolicited marketing messages automatically.
Information that may be accessed through Meta APIs
If the centre later completes Meta authorization, the app will request only the permissions and data needed for the approved features. This may include:
- Facebook Page identifiers and basic Page information needed to identify the authorized Page.
- Posts, comments, public reactions or engagement counts, timestamps, and public links associated with that Page.
- Customer-initiated Messenger message text, attachment type, Page-scoped sender identifier, message identifier, and timestamp needed to notify staff and respond to the conversation.
- If an Instagram professional account is separately connected and authorized: account/media identifiers and public media or comment information needed for monitoring.
- Processing identifiers and timestamps used to avoid duplicate processing and to track the status of a monitoring event.
The app is not intended to access Facebook passwords, authentication codes, payment information, unrelated private profile data, contact lists, or school records through Meta APIs. It processes only conversations that a person initiates with the authorized business Page. The centre asks parents not to submit child names, photographs, medical information, or other sensitive child information through Messenger.
How information is used
- To identify new Page or authorized Instagram activity for monitoring.
- To notify authorized centre staff of a new Messenger enquiry, summarize what was discussed, and prepare or send an approved customer-service reply.
- To summarize engagement, themes, questions, and possible issues for the centre.
- To prepare drafts, recommendations, and campaign ideas for human approval.
- To prevent duplicate processing and maintain an operational audit trail.
- To protect the reliability and security of the integration.
We do not sell Meta data or use it for unrelated advertising profiles. We do not use the integration to make decisions about children or to provide automated decisions about parents.
Website enquiries and technical information
If you contact the centre by email or WhatsApp, you may choose to provide your name, contact details, programme interest, preferred visit date, and message so the centre can respond. Please do not send sensitive child information through these channels. Hosting, security, and reliability services may process ordinary technical request information such as time, browser type, IP address, and error records.
Storage and retention
At present, ordinary customer Messenger data is not being processed because Messenger activation is incomplete. Once activated, the website webhook will validate and forward new-message alerts without maintaining a website message database. Alert text and approved reply records may appear in the centre’s authorized Telegram chat and Hermes workspace so staff can respond and maintain a customer-service record. We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, security, audit, and legitimate centre records, and delete it when no longer needed or when a valid deletion request applies.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell or rent Meta data. Information may be visible to authorized centre personnel and may be processed by Meta, Vercel (secure webhook hosting), Telegram (staff notification delivery), the approved Hermes workspace, and the AI service configured for Hermes when a reply draft or summary is requested. Only the minimum content needed for the customer-service task is used. We do not authorize these services to use the information for unrelated advertising or to identify children.
Security
Meta authorization is performed through Meta’s official flow. Passwords, access tokens, and app secrets must not be submitted through this website. Operational credentials are kept outside public website content and are limited to authorized systems. No internet security measure is perfect; if you believe an account or data has been exposed, contact us promptly.
Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, or explain the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also stop interacting with the Page or Instagram account. To request deletion, use our data-deletion page.
Children’s privacy
The centre serves young children, but the Meta integration is for managing public Page and authorized professional-account activity, not for building child profiles. Do not send child names, images, medical details, or identifying information in comments, messages, forms, or email unless the centre specifically requests it through an approved process.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the website or Meta integration changes. The latest version will remain available at this URL. For privacy questions or requests, email cambridgesandakan@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”.
